Per Wisconsin State Statute 174.07, it is the pet owner's responsibility to provide proof of a current rabies vaccination before a license can be issued.  In other words, if the rabies vaccination we have on file from your last pet license renewal has expired, you will need to provide updated documentation in the form of a rabies certificate from your veterinarian. Copies are acceptable. Staff will not contact veterinarians for missing information or proof of vaccination nor have access to veterinarian vaccination lists.
