Cemetery

The following cemeteries are municipally owned and located within the City of New Berlin:

  • German Evangelical Cemetery - 3700 S. Racine Avenue
  • New Berlin Centre Cemetery – 18001 W. National Avenue
  • Pioneer Cemetery - 4101 S. Racine Avenue
  • Sunnyside Cemetery – 6005 S. Racine Court

City staff oversee the care and maintenance of all municipal cemeteries, including groundskeeping, landscaping, and recordkeeping. Our goal is to ensure these spaces remain dignified and peaceful resting places for loved ones.

New Berlin Centre Cemetery is currently the only municipal cemetery with plots available for purchase.

If you have any questions, please complete the inquiry form below. A site visit with the Director or Deputy Director of Public Works can also be arranged upon request.

Each grave site is priced at $1,800 and may be purchased individually or in groups. Each burial site may contain:

  • One full burial and one cremation, or
  • Two cremation burials, or
  • A parent and infant (stillborn or up to age two) buried together, or
  • Two small children buried in one casket
