The City website is subject to the Freedom of Information Act and the Wisconsin Public Records Law. Any content maintained on the City’s website which is related to City business, including email, may be a public record subject to public disclosure.
As a public entity the City of New Berlin is subject to the requirements of the Wisconsin Public Records law. As such electronic communications submitted to the City are subject to the document retention and public access provisions of that law. The City does limit access to personally identifiable information including account information as required by applicable law.
