Overview:
The Finance Committee performs financial tasks as directed by the Common Council. Its primary responsibility is to develop and review the City's General Financial Policies.
Please note that the Finance Committee does not review:
- Individual departmental budgets
- The overall city budget during the annual budget cycle
- Budget amendments
These responsibilities are reserved for the Common Council.
