Utility Committee

Overview

The Utility Committee manages the water and sewer utilities of the city. The committee is in charge of the construction, extension, and improvement of utilities. The Utility Committee may prepare and adopt plans, designs, and specifications for buildings, machinery, apparatus, and the laying of mains and appliances required to ensure the proper functioning of utilities. The committee also reviews and makes recommendations on rates charged to utility customers.
