The City of New Berlin held an organizational Joint Review Board Meeting on April 13, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the meeting was not open to the public in an in-person capacity. The meeting was available by downloading the ZOOM app located at https://zoom.us/ and utilize Meeting ID #: 507331736 to join. The purpose of this meeting was to organize a Joint Review Board for the purposes of considering the proposed creation of and proposed project plan for Tax Incremental District No. 4 (the "District").
The Plan Commission held a public hearing on April 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of providing the community a reasonable opportunity to comment upon the proposed creation of the Project Plan for the District. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this meeting was not open to the public in an in-person capacity. For those wishing to view, participate in the meeting and/or ask questions during the public hearing, they did so by downloading the ZOOM app located at https://zoom.us/ and utilize the 260323118 meeting ID to join.
The District is expected to be a mixed-use district based on the identification and classification of the property proposed to be included within the District.
Proposed project costs include various public improvements and cash grants to owners, lessees or developers of land located within the district (development incentives) and professional and organizational services, administrative costs, and finance costs. The proposed costs include projects within the proposed boundary and within a 1/2 mile radius of the proposed boundary of the District.
4/13/2020 - Joint Review Board reviewed the proposed Project Plan.
4/13/2020 - Plan Commission to reviewed the proposed Project Plan and held a public hearing.
5/4/2020 - Plan Commission approved the Project Plan via Resolution #: 20-3.
5/12/2020 - Common Council approved the Project Plan via Resolution #: 20-16.
6/4/2020 -Joint Review Board approved the Project Plan via Resolution #: 20-18.
