Biography
Dave Ament is now serving his third term as Mayor of New Berlin. He was first elected Mayor on April 2, 2013 after serving the citizens of New Berlin as the seventh district alderman for twelve years from 2001 - 2013. The Mayor was then re-elected in April 2017, and again in April 2021 for his third term. Before being elected mayor in 2013, he owned and operated his own business, Ament Industrial Truck for 33 years.
Family
Dave has been a resident of New Berlin for over 69 years and has been married to his wife, Peggy, for over 54 years and counting! They have three grown children, Beth, Sherry and Matt.
