[ARCHIVED] Mayor Ament declares September 2014 Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Forty-six school age children will be diagnosed with cancer each day and one out of five will not survive the disease. In an effort to raise awareness of pediatric cancer, Mayor Ament has declared September 2014 to be Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
