The City of New Berlin has completed follow-up water quality testing after one routine sample collected on August 13 tested positive for total coliform bacteria (not E. coli).
🔹 All repeat samples came back safe
🔹 The initial result was likely a false positive, which can sometimes occur during water sampling and testing
🔹 There is no health concern, and your water remains safe to drink and use
Our Water Utility continues monthly sampling at 30 sites across the city to ensure quality meets state and federal standards.
